Your first FundedReady session (about 10 minutes)
New tools are easier when someone tells you where to start. This is a simple first session for FundedReady, the free browser trading practice simulator. It takes roughly ten minutes, needs no signup, and uses no real money. By the end, you'll have tried the controls, answered a few decisions with explanations, played a chart round, and know where your progress is saved.
Before you start
You don't need a brokerage account, trading experience, or a download. FundedReady runs in your browser. Progress is saved in that browser, so use the same one next time (or export a backup, covered below).
FundedReady is educational practice. It isn't a prop firm, a broker, or a signal service.
Step 1: Guided quick play (about 2–3 minutes)
Open guided quick play. It walks you through the chart controls with a simple practice round: watching simulated candles develop, choosing an entry, and seeing what happens. If you've used trading charts before, you can skip this and go straight to Step 3.
Step 2: Five decisions in Decision Arcade (about 3 minutes)
Decision Arcade gives you five short situations to think through. There's no clock. You choose an answer, and each one comes with an explanation of why it works or doesn't. First-time correct answers earn skill XP, and later reviews check what you remember.
There are 17 skills to choose from, including one for each chart course plus position sizing, discipline, and trade review. For a first session, a mixed run is fine. If you're preparing for an evaluation, try the Risk architect set, which practises sizing a trade to a loss budget.
Step 3: One chart round (about 3 minutes)
Pick one course and play a level. Bull Flag Level 1 is the usual starting point. You'll see a short lesson and a practice mission, then simulated candles develop and you choose an entry. Afterwards, you get feedback and can replay your decision.
If you already know which setup you want to practise, every one of the 14 courses is open from the start, with five levels each.
Step 4: Save your progress (under a minute)
Your progress is stored in this browser. There's no cloud account. To keep a copy:
- Open Settings & backups and choose Export backup for your chart-course progress.
- In Decision Arcade, open Arcade backups and choose Export arcade backup.
Keep both files somewhere safe. If you clear your browser or switch devices, import them to pick up where you left off.
What to do next time
- Come back to one course. Five levels on one setup teaches more than one level on five setups.
- Try Today's Challenge. Everyone gets the same simulated chart for that UTC day.
- Try a longer mode. Career Mode uses a virtual $50k plus a simplified target and floor; Weekly Evaluation gives you ten trades that reset each Monday (UTC).
- Review one decision each session. Replay is the fastest way to learn from a round.
If something doesn't make sense
That's normal on a first visit. Each chart level starts with a short lesson, and every Decision Arcade answer has an explanation, so try reading those slowly before repeating the round. You can replay any chart decision to see the candles again.
If the controls still feel unfamiliar, run guided quick play a second time. There's no penalty for repeating anything, and you can take as long as you like between rounds.
A note on expectations
Scores and XP record practice in a simplified game. They don't certify that you're ready to trade real money or to buy an evaluation. Use them to track what you're learning.
