A free trading simulator you can open now
Most "free" trading simulators come with a catch: a signup, a trial clock, a download, or an upsell. FundedReady is a free practice simulator that runs in your browser. There's no account to create and no real money involved. This guide explains what's included, what it isn't, and how it compares with paper trading, so you can decide whether it fits how you want to practise.
What's included
Everything below is free and open from the start:
- 14 chart courses, 70 levels. Each course has five levels covering one setup, from Bull Flag and Opening Range Breakout to VWAP Bounce, RSI, and Scaling Into Winners. Simulated candles develop, you choose an entry, manage the trade, then get feedback and replay.
- Decision Arcade. Five-question runs across 17 skills: one for each course setup, plus position sizing, discipline, and trade review. Every answer has an explanation.
- Practice modes. Today's Challenge (the same simulated chart for everyone each UTC day), Career Mode (a virtual $50k plus a simplified target and floor), Weekly Evaluation (ten trades, resets Monday UTC), Tilt Simulator, Flash Cards, and Historical Replays.
What "free" means here
There's no signup, no payment card, and no trial timer. All courses, levels, games, and modes are free. Progress is saved in your browser. If you change devices, you can export a backup from Settings and import it on the other one. Decision Arcade has its own separate backup.
What it isn't
- Not a prop firm. There's no evaluation to buy, no funded account, and no payout.
- Not a broker. There's no live order execution and no connection to a real market.
- Not a signal service. Nothing here tells you what to trade.
- Not real market data. Charts are simulated, so the focus stays on the decision rather than a specific ticker.
Simulator vs paper trading
Paper trading on a broker demo is useful for learning a platform and trading live market prices without risk. It's less structured: you decide what to practise, and feedback depends on you.
A practice simulator like FundedReady is narrower. It gives you a specific setup, asks for a decision, then explains it. You can repeat the same idea many times in a short session and replay each decision. Many traders use both: structured reps here, then live-market paper trading on their platform.
Who it's for
- Beginners who want to learn chart decisions without opening a brokerage account.
- Futures traders preparing for an evaluation who want reps on a setup before risking an evaluation fee.
- Experienced traders who want a quick, focused drill on one idea.
Where to start
If you're new, guided quick play walks you through the controls. If you already know what a bull flag is, Bull Flag Level 1 is a short first round. If you'd rather think before you click, a five-question Decision Arcade run is a good warm-up.
How the pieces fit together
A simple way to use the simulator is to move from thinking to doing. Start with a Decision Arcade run to reason through a few situations with explanations. Then take the same idea to a chart course, where timing matters. When a setup feels familiar, try a longer mode like Career Mode or Weekly Evaluation to see whether your decisions hold over several trades.
Each piece is optional. You can go straight to any course, any level, or any mode. The structure is there if you want it, not a gate you have to pass through.
The honest limit
A simulator records practice. A good score doesn't mean you'll be profitable live, where costs, slippage, and real pressure apply. Use it to understand decisions, not to predict results.

Is FundedReady a prop firm?
