Export your FundedReady progress backup
FundedReady doesn't use accounts. Your practice progress is saved in your browser, which keeps things simple and private, but it also means clearing your browser or switching devices can lose it. This short guide shows how to export a backup and import it later. There are two separate backups: one for chart courses and modes, one for Decision Arcade.
Where your progress lives
Everything is stored locally in the browser you play in. There's no cloud account and no automatic sync between devices. That means:
- Playing on your phone and your laptop creates two separate sets of progress.
- Clearing site data or browsing history may remove your progress.
- Private or incognito windows typically don't keep progress after you close them.
A backup file solves all three.
Backup 1: Chart courses and modes
This covers your chart-course progress and other map progress.
- Open FundedReady and go to Settings & backups.
- Choose Export backup. A file downloads to your device.
- Keep it somewhere you'll find it, such as a cloud drive or email to yourself.
To restore, open Settings & backups on the new device or browser and choose Import backup, then select the file.
The same panel also has Reset progress if you want a clean start. Export first if there's any chance you'll want your history back.
Backup 2: Decision Arcade
Decision Arcade keeps its own record of medals and review history. It isn't included in the Settings backup.
- Open Decision Arcade.
- Open Arcade backups.
- Choose Export arcade backup.
To restore, open Arcade backups and choose Import arcade backup, then select the file. If the file isn't a valid Arcade backup, the import will tell you rather than overwrite your progress with something broken.
When to back up
- Before clearing your browser.
- Before switching devices or browsers.
- After a good week of practice, so you don't lose it.
- Before using Reset progress.
A simple habit: export both backups at the end of each week.
Previous progress on this browser
If the home screen shows "Have previous progress on this browser? Import it without logging in.", follow that prompt to bring older progress into your current save.
Privacy
Because progress is stored locally, FundedReady doesn't need your email or a password to save it. Your backup file is yours. Keep it as safe as you would any personal file.
What's in each backup
- Settings backup: your chart-course progress and other map progress saved on this device.
- Arcade backup: your Decision Arcade medals and review history, including which skills you've scouted, practised, or retained.
Troubleshooting
- Import says the file isn't valid. Check you're importing the right file into the right place: the Settings backup into Settings & backups, and the Arcade backup into Arcade backups.
- Progress looks older than expected. You may have imported an older file. Export again from the device with the latest progress.
- Can't find the downloaded file. Check your browser's downloads folder. On phones, it may be in the Files app.
What progress means
Your progress shows what you've practised: levels played, skills scouted, reviews completed. It's a useful record of learning. It doesn't measure readiness to trade real money or to buy an evaluation.
