Trading simulator vs paper trading: what each is for
A learning game can isolate a decision and explain it quickly. A paper-trading platform can provide a broader order workflow and market context. The quality of simulation and fill assumptions varies, and neither reproduces every live-trading condition.
Quick answer
Play five free trading decisions to practise the idea with explanations. All games and courses are free, with no signup or real money.
Use a game for a clear question
Decision Arcade asks what makes an entry, risk choice, or waiting decision reasonable. Chart courses let you practise timing and review the candles. The prices and activity are simulated.
Use paper trading for platform practice
Study the platform’s order types, data source, costs, and fill model separately. Keep the same written decision process when moving between tools, and review assumptions rather than comparing raw profits across different simulations.
Make the next attempt useful
You can repeat a round to explore a different choice. In Decision Arcade, first-time correct answers earn XP and later reviews check what you remember. Misses help choose the next exercise. In chart games, replay connects feedback with the candles you actually saw.
Pick one thing to improve, explain your decision, and come back when you want another round. Explore the free games, browse the courses, or read a related lesson.
Keep your progress
Your chart-course progress stays in this browser. Export and import a backup from Settings if you change devices. Decision Arcade has separate backup controls for its XP and skill-review progress. There is no cloud account.
