Tradeify Trading Challenge: Challenge Walkthrough

Complete Tradeify trading challenge rules and strategies for passing.

Tradeify Overview: Accessible Prop Firm

Tradeify is a newer prop firm focused on accessibility. They offer relatively low-cost challenges ($99–249), making them popular for traders on tight budgets. Their rules are: (1) Daily loss limit of 10% of account balance (more lenient than FTMO or TopStep). (2) Monthly loss limit of 15% of account balance. (3) Profit target of 10% to pass and scale. The 10% daily loss limit sounds generous until you realize: lose $1,000 on day 1, you're down to $9,000 effective capital for the rest of the challenge. Most traders fail not because they hit the daily limit once, but because they're constantly grinding 8–10% lost accounts, making profits harder. Tradeify also allows traders to take funded accounts immediately if they pass (unlike FTMO's two-phase system). This appeals to traders who want fast funding. The challenge typically lasts 2–6 weeks depending on profit progress.

Tradeify Strategy: Volume-Based Grinding

Because Tradeify's daily loss limit is generous (10%), traders can afford to take more losses per day. This favors high-volume traders who take 10–20 trades per day and average a small profit. A trader taking 15 trades per day with a 60% win rate makes 9 wins and 6 losses. With 1:1 risk-reward, they're +3 units per day. Scale this over 20 trading days and you hit the 10% profit target. The best Tradeify traders are *mechanical scalpers* who execute the same pattern repeatedly (e.g., VWAP bounces on 5-min charts). They build small wins through volume and don't worry about hitting one massive home run. This is different from FTMO (where a few large winners and tight losses work) or TopStep (where grinding $300/day works). Tradeify rewards traders who combine volume with consistency.

Tradeify Scaling: Duplicate Accounts

Once you pass Tradeify, you can request duplicate accounts (like TopStep). You can run 2–3 accounts simultaneously, scaling your funded capital and profits. Tradeify's profit splits are also generous: 80% to the trader, 20% to Tradeify. This incentivizes traders to scale aggressively. The fastest path to six figures at Tradeify is passing quickly, duplicating, then grinding on 3 accounts simultaneously. A trader making $500/month on one account can make $1,500/month on three accounts. This compounds fast. However, duplicating also triples your risk of hitting a daily loss limit. Many traders who duplicate then fail because they can't maintain discipline across three accounts. The pros only duplicate once they've proven multi-account consistency on paper.
