Practise the Weekly Evaluation board
When you only get ten trades, every one of them has to earn its place. That's the idea behind Weekly Evaluation, a free FundedReady mode that gives you a ten-trade board on a virtual $50k account, resetting each Monday (UTC). This guide explains how to use it as selectivity practice. It's a simplified game, not a prop firm evaluation, and it doesn't copy any firm's rules.
What Weekly Evaluation is
Weekly Evaluation is a practice mode with a fixed number of trades: ten. You trade on a virtual $50k account with a simplified target and floor. The board resets every Monday (UTC), so each week is a fresh attempt. Once the ten trades are used, or the run ends, you can keep playing rounds in practice for the rest of the week.
It's free and needs no real money.
Why a trade cap is useful practice
Many traders take too many trades. Some evaluations cap trades or limit size, and even where they don't, over-trading is a common way to drift towards a loss limit. A hard cap of ten forces a different question: "Is this setup good enough to use one of my ten?"
That question is the habit. The board is just a way to practise it.
How to approach the ten trades
- Decide your criteria first. Which setups qualify? Write them down before the first trade.
- Skip freely. Not taking a trade doesn't use one of your ten.
- Keep size steady. Ten trades isn't many, so one oversized loss has a big effect.
- Review each trade as you go. Don't wait until the end. A quick note after each one keeps you honest.
Warming up
Before the week's board, try a short Decision Arcade run. The Risk architect set covers sizing to a loss budget, and the Patience pilot set treats passing as a real decision. Both are directly relevant to a capped board.
You can also play the chart course for the setup you plan to use, so your timing is fresh.
What it isn't
Weekly Evaluation isn't modelled on any named firm. It doesn't simulate trailing drawdown, consistency rules, or payouts, and a good week doesn't mean you're ready for a paid evaluation.
Pairing it with other modes
- Career Mode uses a virtual $50k plus a simplified target and floor with no trade cap, so you can compare your behaviour with and without a limit.
- Today's Challenge gives everyone the same simulated chart each UTC day, for a quick daily habit between weekly boards.
- Tilt Simulator helps if you find yourself wanting to use up trades quickly.
A simple weekly rhythm
- Monday: Write your criteria. Take only the trades that meet them.
- Midweek: Review what you've taken. Are they all trades you'd take again?
- Sunday: Look back at the week's ten (or fewer). Pick one thing to change next week.

Choosing which trades deserve a slot
A useful filter is to give each potential trade a quick yes/no on three questions: Is this one of my written setups? Can I name where the idea is wrong? Does the size fit my loss budget? Only a trade with three yeses uses a slot.
It sounds strict, and it is. That's the point. If you find yourself bending the filter to use up trades, the Tilt Simulator or the Patience pilot questions are worth a session before next week's board.
Keep expectations honest
A strong weekly board shows good selectivity in a simplified game. It doesn't predict live results or evaluation outcomes.
