## Quick Answer

Adding to a winning position changes total exposure and average entry. A higher open profit does not make additional size free of risk. FundedReady lets you rehearse the decision with simulated trades. Practise with free games, explanations, and replay feedback.

## Curriculum

- Level 66: Consider a first add - Look for fresh confirmation after the starting position moves in your favour.
- Level 67: Watch the next price test - Compare adding near a fresh price level with adding after an extended move.
- Level 68: Check total open risk - Estimate the whole position’s loss at the shared stop before an add.
- Level 69: Compare add sizes - Notice how smaller later adds change the position’s total exposure.
- Level 70: Choose when to skip - Consider declining an add when confirmation, remaining reward, or the risk budget is unclear.

## FAQ

### Is the whole course free?

Yes. The warm-up, all five chart levels, replay, and feedback are free. You do not need an account or a payment card.

### How does learning through a game work?

Read the setup, make a decision, and connect the feedback with what happened. Decision Arcade adds explanation questions and skill XP; chart levels let you practise the timing.

### Is scaling into winners the same as averaging up?

Both increase a position at a higher price in a long trade or a lower price in a short trade. This practice also checks for fresh confirmation and estimated total risk before each add.

### Should I move my stop to breakeven before adding?

Not automatically. Consider whether a new stop fits the current price structure, then estimate the whole position’s result at that stop before adding.

### How large should each add be?

There is no universal size. The practice uses smaller later additions and checks the whole position against a planned risk budget.

### Can a stop guarantee that my total risk stays fixed?

No. A stop order may fill at a different price in a fast market, while a stop-limit order may not fill. Treat the risk calculation as an estimate.
