## Quick Answer

Start with the guided Bull Flag challenge. Choose your size before entering, manage your stop and target on the chart, and use the result panel and candle replay to review your decision. All prices and trades are simulated.

A FundedReady challenge takes you through a trading decision: reading a setup, choosing an entry, managing risk, and reviewing what happened. The updated layout keeps the chart in view so you can connect the feedback to the candles you traded.

This walkthrough follows the first Bull Flag challenge. The screenshots show a recorded practice attempt, not an expected score or return. Prices are simulated, and each new attempt can develop differently.

## 1. Open a free practice round

[Play a quick round](/?play=quick) without signup, or choose any course and level. All 14 courses and 70 levels are open. Progress stays in this browser; export a backup and import it on another device. There is no cloud sync.

On the homepage, **Let’s get started!** opens the course list. A guided start is [guided quick play](/?play=quick&guide=1). [Bull Flag Level 1](/?course=bull&level=1) stays available as its own practice link. Read the short lesson, then start the challenge. For a refresher on the pattern itself, see the [bull flag guide](/blog/bull-flag-trading-strategy/).

## 2. Read the setup before choosing an entry

Watch how the candles develop around the initial move and consolidation. The chart and course-specific guides help you locate the setup; the trade buttons let you act when you decide the entry makes sense.

Use the position-size controls before entering. Once you enter, that size stays fixed for the trade. That makes the original choice part of the decision you review afterward.

Your challenge uses simulated candles, not a live market feed or a broker connection.

## 3. Manage your stop and target on the chart

After entering, the chart shows your entry and the stop and target controls. Drag the handles to adjust the exit levels as the trade develops. Watch their relationship to price rather than focusing only on the running result.

<picture><source srcset="/assets/challenge-walkthrough/manage-your-trade.webp" type="image/webp"><img src="/assets/challenge-walkthrough/manage-your-trade.png" alt="Active simulated trade with entry, stop and target lines and draggable risk controls." width="1280" height="720" loading="lazy"></picture>

Your entry and exit decisions affect the trade; they do not rewrite the market path. Moving a target does not make the candles move toward it. Treat the attempt as a chance to observe the consequences of one set of decisions.

## 4. Read the result alongside the chart

When the attempt ends, the chart remains visible with the result panel. Connect the written feedback to your entry and exit markers before starting another attempt.

The score and simulated profit or loss describe different aspects of the trade. Entry timing is one component of the score; management and outcome also matter. A maximum entry-timing component does not automatically mean a perfect overall result.

On a smaller screen, the result details can be expanded while the chart stays available. Open those details when you want the full explanation.

## 5. Replay your decision, one candle at a time

Select **Replay my decision** to revisit the completed attempt. Pause the replay, move to the previous or next candle, or use the scrubber to inspect a particular moment. **Return to outcome** brings you back to the final chart.

Replay is a review of the recorded trade. It does not submit another score or let you replace the original entry. You can study the same candle path without turning the review into a new attempt.

Before trying again, identify one thing to practise: waiting for a clearer entry, choosing a smaller size, or explaining why you moved a stop. Keeping one focus makes the next result easier to compare with this one.

## Try a decision-game warm-up

[Play five Bull Flag decisions](/?mode=arcade&skill=bull) before another chart round. Every answer gets an explanation, and first-time correct decisions add skill XP. Arcade progress has separate backup controls from the chart progress in Settings. All games and courses are free.
